My Training & Experience

Picture

In counselling, I am CPCAB trained at Level 4/5 at Diploma level for both adults and children separately and my continuous training in specialist areas such as Trauma and Rape Crisis for accreditation means that my knowledge is updated and extended on a regular basis. I also hold a 2-yr foundation degree in communications and promotions as well as Level 3 - 2-year qualifications in holistic body practices.

I am a member of the BACP which is the governing and leading body in providing an ethical framework to protect both client and therapist while providing a framework for all authentic and ethical therapists to follow.

I am proficient in my understanding of their virtuous commitment to what’s expected of a sincere therapist who will work with the client to provide a service where those benefits enhance the client’s understanding of self.

~ I have worked for the NHS in the capacity of CAMHS Tier 2 Psychological Services.
~ I have worked in women's refuge and advocacy
~ I have worked in many schools and continue to work in trauma-informed Alternative Provision
